i dont think they can be beat for the price. i've never used this type of bit before but was pleased with how they performed. i'm happy to have these in my garage.
These did much better than normal twist drills. Since I've gotten these I've used them to punch holes through sheet metal, angle aluminum, plexiglas sheet, and drill out a few old locks. Use some kind of cutting oil (or WD40) when drilling though thick/hard metals to help the bit cut and lengthen its life.
Nice bits. Make holes.
Good product for a good price. Who can complain about that.
Make them neatly. But being a hobbyist, I give them kudos.
These bits--they look like the Duty Now For The Future hats the fellas in Devo wore back in the 80's--but I use them to drill out holes in Altoids tins when I build radios and other phernalia in them. Nice times.
I'm not a contractor, and if I was, I would soundly pan this product for being less-than-professional.
Unlike other bits I have used, these have a double flute design and a heavy duty shank for stability. I am impressed with the quality of these drill bits. This makes drilling holes with this design bit more precise with smoother cutting.
